The National Chairman of the opposition party NDC Mr Johnson Aseidu Nketiah popularly known as General Mosquito has asserted that the ruling President Akuffo-Addo and Dr Bawumia led NPP Government have been looting the Nation’s coffers to enrich themselves without taking into consideration the plights of the suffering masses.
According to Mr Aseidu Nketiah, the Nation is currently in a ditch as majority of Ghanaians are even unable to afford three square meals a day but it is evident that Government Officials and their Appointees are living in a lavishly lifestyle, therefore he is charging all NDC supporters to also work extra harder to bring back the party to power after the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections .
Mr. Aseidu Nketiah was addressing a mammoth crowd in Techiman in the Bono East Regional capital during a gargantuan “Unity Walk” to re-energize the Techiman South Constituency NDC which was recently divided due to feuding factions but have now re-united.
The Bono East Regional NDC Chairman Mr. Unas Owusu affectionately called “Unasco” in his address urges all party supporters to support the upcoming District Assembly elections because it also forms part of the NDC agenda to come back to power in 2024 and win all 11 Parliamentary seats in the Bono East Region.
The Techiman South NDC Parliamentary Candidate Dr. Christopher Baasongti Beyere was excited for the Unity walk, which he believes that it will win them their back the seat.
Finally, Hon. Dr. Alex Kofi Kyeremeh a former MP for Techiman North Constituency and Deputy Minister for Education used the opportunity to thank the Bono East NDC for supporting him the be appointed as party’s National Treasurer and pleaded with members to close their ranks to work towards winning 2024.
