Ghanaian musician and the chairman of GHAMRO, Rex Omar has indirectly jabbed the president, Nana Akufo Addo on social media.
In a post on his Facebook page, Rex Omar poked Akufo Addo, urging him to name the national cathedral after the late JB. Dankwah.
She wrote; “Why don’t you name your most expensive manhole after your uncle, JB Dankwah”
This comes after President Nana Akufo-Addo emphasized the part played in the foundation of the University of Ghana by Joseph Boakye Danquah, a former presidential candidate in 1960.
In a speech during the institution’s 75th Thanksgiving Service, the president expressed his certainty that JB Danquah’s efforts to promote the founding of the university will be remembered positively by history.
President Akufo-Addo emphasized in his speech how Joseph Boakye Danquah’s dedication to seeing that Ghana had its own university led to the establishment of the University of Ghana.
