An unsuccessful presidential aspirant from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, is advising any candidate who emerges as the party’s flagbearer to consider implementing some aspects of his comprehensive six-point plan.
This plan aims to strategically position the country for success.
Following the NPP’s special delegates conference held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, individuals such as Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Joe Ghartey, Kofi Konadu Apraku, and Kwadwo Poku were unable to amass sufficient votes to advance to the next stage of the NPP presidential race.
During the launch of his campaign on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, Mr. Agyepong strongly urged the party not to elect candidates who had previously faced setbacks within the Akufo-Addo administration to lead the party in preparation for the 2024 elections.
He stressed the significance of choosing candidates capable of effectively addressing the nation’s prevailing challenges.
Speaking on the aftermath of the elections in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Eyewitness News on Citi FM in Accra on Monday, Mr. Agyepong said, “I hope that whoever emerges takes out my six-point plan to rescue the country. I would like the person to identify with some of my ideals.”
