The member of Parliament of Afram Plains South Constituency in the Eastern Region Hon. Joseph Appiah Boateng has today voiced worry about neglect by the Government and the Volta River Authority (V. R. A) after the recent spillage of Akosombo and Kpong Dams.
Speaking to the host Collins Agyemang (Don Collinto) on the Dofopa 105. FM Political Talk Show dubbed Ghana Nsem, the lawmaker of the constituency lamented how the government and the Volta River Authority have neglected their constituents regarding the crevasse yielded by the spillage of the Akosombo and Kpong Dams.
Hon. Joseph Appiah Boateng stated that he’s been in various offices but none of the authorities has given ears to his entreaties.
The lawmaker then lamented the major challenge they are facing and pleaded with the general public to help donate rudimentary items to help in these difficult times.
