Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah, also known as Freezy Macbones, competes in the UK and has accepted an invitation to join the Black Bombers, Ghana’s amateur national boxing squad.
Freezy Macbones has vowed to participate in the upcoming Africa qualifiers, which will take place in Dakar, Senegal, next month, despite having previously hinted at a potential change of international allegiance to the United Kingdom.
Getting a spot for the future Olympics in Paris is the aim of this endeavour.
The fighter enthusiastically expressed his desire to support Ghana’s Olympic boxing goals in his announcement of his choice via his official Twitter account. He expressed how hard he was working to make his dream of honourably serving his country a reality.
In his statement, Freezy Macbones declared, “I have received the call to represent my nation, Ghana, at the forthcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. This journey will commence post the African qualification rounds slated for next month in Dakar, Senegal. My current intense training regimen is geared towards triumphing in these qualifiers and securing the coveted Gold next year.”
