The news of the embattled former Sanitation Minister Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah has generated a lot of conversations in Ghana and beyond.
The Later who resigned due to the circumstances surrounding her stolen money at her residence is been investigated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor headed by Lawyer Kissi Agyabeng.
The Minister was arrested by the OSP and later discharged as the investigation goes on.
In a mid-day news broadcast on 25th July 2023 by Tv3, a subsidiary of Media General Ltd disclosed that the Office of the Special Prosecutor through the investigation discovered a huge sum of money at the residence of the former minister which took the officials of the OSP (5)five hours to count.

In response, the Office of the Special Prosecutor has issued a statement to disregard any news material in any form purporting to be findings or outcomes of the ongoing investigations.

PUBLIC NOTICE (2)
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has taken notice of purported reports, pictures, and videos of the steps and actions taken in respect of the matter involving Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the former Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
The OSP has not revealed, published, or caused to be revealed or published, any report, videos, or pictures of the steps and actions it has taken in the matter and the outcome of the steps and actions.
The OSP advises the public to disregard any report, videos, or pictures purportedly showing the steps and actions and the outcome of such steps and actions taken by the OSP.
The OSP will brief the public on the outcome of the investigation upon its conclusion and any further action the Office may take.
