The Ghana’s second lady, Samira Bawumia, has dragged the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong through the mud as the NPP Presidential primaries heat up.
Speaking during a campaign event, Samira Bawumia addressed Kennedy Agyapong and some comments he has passed about the NPP.
She claimed that the controversial MP had said that if he doesn’t win the flagbearership, he doesn’t mind the NPP sliding into opposition.
Samira Bawumia said Kennedy Agyapong doesn’t mind the NPP going to opposition because he’s already rich and his entire family down to the 99th generation are already rich. Hence, he doesn’t care about the rank and file of the party who would suffer if they slide into opposition.
“Those campaigning with bitterness and saying the party hasn’t done anything for them, what will they get if the party is in opposition”.
Mrs. Bawumia said that makes it clear that her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is the one to be chosen as the party’s next leader as he’s the one to lead them into the promised land of ‘breaking the 8.
