News reaching Ghanapublisher.com indicates that former Gender Minister, Otiko Afisa Djaba has nominated a presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong as her proxy for the special electoral college election.
This was revealed during a live interview on Oyerepa TV when a political critic asserted that Kwabena Agyepong’s nomination by Otiko as her proxy suggests that Otiko Djaba is supporting the former’s ambition to contest for the flagbearership race.
The NPP has issued a warning to all delegates participating in the special delegates conference on Saturday, August 26, regarding the public display of cast ballots.
They have emphasized that such actions constitute a criminal offence, and individuals who breach this provision will face legal consequences in accordance with the law.
