A man who owned a dog has organized a funeral to honour the memory of his beloved pet.
The announcement of the dog’s passing and upcoming burial went viral on social media, causing amusement.
The funeral poster, shared on TikTok by user @bengarzy.ba91, included the inscription “forever in our hearts” and revealed the dog’s name as Mr Dodoo.
The poster also disclosed that the dog had lived to the age of 24 and that the final funeral rites would take place on August 21st, 2023.
After the ceremony, the dog’s remains would be interred at the Awudome cemetery in Accra.
