The electoral commission of Ghana, has release a publication to embark on a limited registration exercise.
The date to begins with the limited registration exercise starts from 12th September, to 3rd October,2023.
There is also a date schedule for replacement of lost Identification card, that will come with a charge, and the amount to be paid is 10.00,it will starts from 3rd October,2023.
On 3rd to 9th October,2023, transfer of votes exercise will be carried on by the electoral commission officials in the various EG district offices across the country.
The time duration for the above exercise starts from 8am to 5pm, when its begins.
The running mate for the former president John Dramani Mahama,Prof.Nanaa Opoku Agyeman has call upon the electoral commission to ensure that the exercise will be free and fair, without any intimation against any individuals.
She said it at a durbar in the central region when she was invited to grace the occasion.
Her reasons for making such appeal to the electoral commission,was that most at times when a registration exercise is enrolled in the country, sometimes backslashes result from it.
Any unqualified minor who is not above eighteen (18)years must not be allowed to registered, to bring any rancour at any registration centre.
