Netizens are buzzing with reactions as Shatta Wale and Michy’s son, Majesty, debuts a fresh hairstyle, sparking discussions across social media platforms.
The 8-year-old has transitioned to dread locs, a choice that his father had consistently expressed disapproval of.
Shatta, in a prior interview with Andy Dosty, made it clear that he was not in favour of Majesty’s locs and had no involvement in the decision to grow them.
He emphasized his own aversion to dread locs and remarked that he, as a grown man, hadn’t even entertained the idea of such a hairstyle.
In a surprising turn, Michy has now honored Shatta’s preference. She recently shared a video on her Snapchat, capturing the poignant moments at a barbershop as Majesty’s dreadlocks were completely removed.
This significant decision by Michy has brought a new look to Majesty and prompted a range of reactions from observers online.
“I don’t like that hair. he will grow up to decide for himself. I am an artiste but I don’t want my kid like that but you know he is with his mum and doesn’t know anything. He will grow up to see that even his father is not a Rasta man because I have my future plans. I have plans of trimming my hair and going completely bald when I became a veteran,” Shatta stated.
