Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has dropped hints about his intention to contest for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearership in the future.
In a viral video on social media, Agyapong expressed gratitude to the delegates who had faith in him, despite his loss in the recent NPP presidential primaries.
He further said, “He who runs away lives to fight another day, so there is hope. All that is needed is good health and life. I’ve got several alternatives. I can go into business and not politics, but time will tell”.
Kennedy Agyapong secured the second position in the primaries and has pledged his support to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in their effort to “break the eight” and achieve a historic victory for the NPP in the 2024 elections.
This suggests that while he may not have won this time, he remains committed to contributing to the party’s future aspirations.
