Back in primary school , we all had ambitions of becoming something, some wanted to be lawyers, some wanted to be Doctors. We all had desires to be something really big in our estimation as kids.
Then in high school, we started realising our strength, one by one, some dropped out due to bad influence, while some failed their exams
Some discovered their talents, so aspiring doctors ended up as visual artists, some pilots opted do business, journalists became bartenders.
Those who stayed in school completed and here we are. We all started looking at the best way to find food than the most glamorous ways.
Some had support and so kept going, proceeded to varsity, others had no support so they had to figure their way around life(how to survive)
5, 8, 10 years later you see an old school mate hustling and the only thing you could do is pick up the phone, call other colleagues and tell them how miserable that fine girl back in school is today? You have a car, life has been good and so mates not in your class are the subjects of your long gossip?
Life can be funny my friend, the way you will start does not determine how you would end. Enjoy your good times, connect your friends to Jobs they are willing to do if you can.
Be proud that despite all the challenges, they haven’t given up, encourage them to keep working.
We didn’t go to school to determine who would be the richest in future, we went to learn how to figure our way around life. If selling water is what I found, allow me to find joy in that and keep earning my bread.
To the struggling mates, no need to hide when you see your old school mate because of your struggles or the type of hustle you do, every legal job that puts food on your table is a decent job. Life goes on friends, keep your head up. we keep moving.
