The Ghana First Coalition, a non-partisan organisation dedicated to promoting a reform agenda, good governance and transparency is calling on the government of Ghana led by President Nana Akufo Addo to expedite the passage of the Conduct of Public Officers Bill, 2022.
The call was made by the Board Chairman of the Ghana First Coalition, Bishop Samuel Noi Mensah in a press release.
This crucial legislation aims to amend and strengthen the existing asset declaration regime for public officers in Ghana.
According to Bishop Samuel Noi Mensah, the Conduct of Public Officers Bill, 2022, presents an opportune moment for Ghana to enhance its fight against corruption and establish a more robust asset declaration regime.
He urged all and sundry to work towards building a prosperous nation rooted in integrity and public trust.
