The chief of Kwahu Tafo *Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll,* and residents of Kwahu Tafo Community in the Kwahu East District, has hinted that, the Fulani issues at Kwahu Tafo has now resolved to forcibly evacuation of the Fulani’s from the area after an emergency meeting with the community members and leaders of Fulani’s, concerning the death of one citizen of Kwahu Tafo at his farm.
*Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll* stressed, the Fulani herdsmen in the area are given an order to confine their animals in a ranch or the resolution will be at shoot every cattle on site if the herdsmen do not comply with the evacuation directives or take them away from their lands.
According to the Chief, they are embarking on a total forcible evacuation exercise without leaving any cattle on their lands so therefore, the Fulani herdsmen in the area are to confine their animals in the ranch or take them away from the land.
He used occasion to assured farmers of his commitment in stabilizing the situation to allow them return to their farms and added that, it will remain resolute in getting rid of the herdsmen in order to ensure that farmers are safe.
Nana Opoku Mintah ll, also called on government, Interior Minister, MP of the Area and all the security agencies to come help them get rid of the Fulani’s off their lands.
Meanwhile, speaking on behalf of the Leadership of Fulani’s present *Sariki Mohammed Abubakar,* “ALL KWAHU ZONGO CHIEF” appealed to the Chief of Kwahu Tafo *Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll,* and their community members to reconsider the evaluation decision and expressed worry over the decisions taken by Nananom and promised to help resolve the issue in a peaceful manner.
