Bawumia should nominate Kennedy Agyapong as running mate – Mr. Logic

Following the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries that successfully determined their flagbearer, there has been public discourse regarding the fate of the candidates who did not secure victory and the party’s strategies concerning these individuals.

Talent manager and entertainment pundit, Mr. Logic, has voiced his recommendation that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia should select the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, as his running mate.

Mr. Logic highlighted Agyapong’s extensive political experience in the nation and stressed the potential benefits this would bring to the party in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

During his appearance as a pundit on the United Showbiz program aired on United Television (UTV) on Saturday, November 4, 2023, Mr. Logic urged Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, to consider nominating Kennedy Agyapong as his running mate.

“I was going to advise that he [Dr. Bawumia] should get Kennedy Agyapong and nominate him as running mate. I don’t know if he would accept it or not. But if he is willing to support Dr. Bawumia, then he should accept it. Because John Mahama is not an easy candidate to overcome in an election,” Mr. Logic told show host MzGee.
