Bridget Otoo has criticized Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, questioning his sincerity about his religion and accusing him of being dishonest.
She expressed that Bawumia changing his religion to appeal to voters does not alter his reputation as a liar.
Otoo emphasized that the vice president’s alleged dishonesty, both in opposition and in government, has contributed to the economic challenges facing the nation.
According to her, the focus should be on Bawumia’s governance and the impact of his statements on the country.
Bridget Otoo has expressed her belief that Ghanaians should focus on Dr. Bawumia’s alleged lies in government after he was elected as the NPP flagbearer for the 2024 general elections.
This follows Member of Parliament Sam Nartey George’s characterization of Dr. Bawumia as a “religious prostitute.” Otoo emphasized the importance of scrutinizing the vice president’s actions and statements during his tenure in government.
“I don’t care if Dr. Bawumia decides to be a Buddhist or change to Christian. I only care about the fact that he is not an honest person and has never owned up to his lies in opposition and in government. That is the real focus of the conversation. #GhanaDecides #OccupyJulorbiHouse,” Bridget Otoo wrote on her X page.
