Some of the members of Parliament who supported Hon.Alan kwadwo Kyeremateng, have started speaking, after the step down of their preferred presidential aspirant.
Hon.Slvester Mensah the member of Parliament for kasoa Amanfromu who was the greater Accra Regional coordinator for team Alan have come out to say that, all the NPP supporters should fellow the flag of the party.
The campaign of Alan is over according to him,he is yet to meet all the coordinators in the region to decide, who among the remaining presidential aspirants, they are going to throw their weight behind and supports.
Speaking on Oman 107.1fm he sighted that all the bad blood and backlashes going on in the social media against,Alan supporters,by a certain presidential aspirant supporters should be stop because it won’t foster unity in the party.
He stated that in the coming days, he will come out and make a public declaration about who he is going to support in the presidential race, since he has a voting right as a member of Parliament.
In Mr Kyeremateng press statement of stepping down from the contest, and he sighted that he will come and tell Ghanaians about the role he will play in Ghana politics in future.
His view about that statement was that,Mr Kyeremateng will be the right person to explain it very well to Ghanaians.
Another member of Parliament who supported Mr Kyeremateng,in his presidential bidding is Hon.David Opoku the legislature who represents Kwaku Mprayeso constituency in Parliament.
Was on Citi tv eyewitness news and said he supported Mr Kyeremateng, because he is an NPP person,if he decides to go as an independent presidential candidate, there is no way he is going to support him.
Now his journey with Mr Kyeremateng is over because he is no more in the presidential race.
Why are these MPs seems to protect the party interest first before Mr Kyeremateng’s interest,or are they afraid to lose their seats in the upcoming Parliamentary primaries?
