The presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party , madam Akua Donkor has threatened to sue the former president of the republic of Ghana , H.E. John Dramani Mahama and the NDC for taking the electoral commission to court.
Following the writ filed on the 7th day of September, 2023 at the Supreme court by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the Convention People’s Party (CPP), All People’s Congress (APC), Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) and the Great Consolidated People’s Party (GCPP) demanding that the apex court should restrain the EC from holding the upcoming limited voter registration exercise.
Madam Akua Donkor said , she has so many reasons to take the former president to court but she decided to let the sleeping dog lie.
But if Mahama and the NDC continue to harass the EC, she will let him smell pepper – she added.
She is ready to give the former president and his NDC a run for money, by giving them a legal showdown.
Per her views it is a diabolical agenda by the former president and the NDC to frustrates the EC to commiserate it responsibilities, as an institution.
She sounded very serious and aggressive when she was interviewed by media, that she meant what she is saying, and warns the former president and the to desist from attacking the EC or else she will take them to court, for disturbing the EC.
